Lily Kandalaft is the founder of Malaak Mama & Baby Care- the UAE’s first maternity focused agency and a one-stop shop for all pre and postnatal services, supporting families across the UAE. Born in Jordan and raised in the UAE, she is a mother of two beautiful little boys, Ryan (4) and Zayden (1 ½). Lily received her Bachelors of Science in Management from McGill University and her Masters of Science in Finance from the London School of Economics and has worked for over 10 years across the Banking and FMCG sectors in Canada and the UAE before deciding to set up Malaak. After having her first baby in 2013 and realizing the big gap in postnatal care in the region, she launched Malaak with the hope of supporting other mamas like her through their beautiful parenting journey!
Cecile de Scally, also known as the UAE’s leading midwife educator and “baby whisperer” is an experienced South African trained midwife, who qualiﬁed in 1990 and has more than 25 years’ experience in prenatal and postnatal support and education.
Cecile offers support to parents, facilitating prenatal classes, hypno-birthing workshops and baby/toddler feeding and sleep consultations.
Cecile’s main focus is Mother and Baby services, offering feeding support for new parents and sleep support for parents of new babies as well as toddlers.
With Cecile’s wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise, she assists families to make informed decisions about their pregnancy, birth and baby.

Jo Holt is an Australian qualified Maternity Nurse (Swinburne University Australia) with over 20 years’ experience working with executive families both in Australia and Dubai.
Jo’s passion is giving parents the confidence to enjoy their children. Jo has been supporting parents for years on behaviour and guidance techniques with different milestones including toilet training along with positive routines and sleep associations. Jo provides them with the tools to create age appropriate routines and sleeping patterns, empowering parents with confidence throughout their parenting journey.

Jo is also involved in supporting our Childcare Professional Team in all areas of Childcare and Child Development, Quality Control and plays an active role in Malaak’s Sleep Guidance Program.

Susie Hylton is a British Qualified Midwife with over 20 years of clinical experience within the UK and the Middle East. As a Mentor and Educator of Student Midwives in the United Kingdom, and as a mother of two grown up sons, Susie has great experience in the provision of care and support for women and their babies during pregnancy, labour and the early postnatal period.
Susie also plays a vital role in the training of all our Childcare Professionals. Susie’s wealth of knowledge and experience guarantees our team will provide the highest level of quality support and professional care to both mother and baby.
As a Midwife Educator in the UK, Susie supports parents to ask the right questions in making informed decisions about their pregnancy and their baby. Susie provides emotional support and encourages mothers to own their own maternity experience for a positive experience during pregnancy, birth and beyond!

Roxanne is a loving mother of three and leads all the Baby Stimulation and Baby Massage workshops at the Malaak Mother & Baby Center.
The Baby Stimulation classes stimulate fine and gross motor skills through a program that has been carefully designed by occupational and physiotherapists with well prepared sensory activities spread over 9 weeks that assist progress of your baby’s individual milestones.
The baby massage workshops (accredited by the Blossom and Berry UK) are also a wonderful course to embark on with your little one and a time where you can relax and further bond with your baby through loving touch.
